The Czech Museum of Music has prepared a series of discussions called Around the world with music as an accompanying program to the exhibition On Tour. The evening also includes a guided tour of the exhibition with its authors.

The five-row xylophone, the only one in the world, was built by a virtuoso Bena Havlů. She has travelled the world with the instrument, performing on cruise ships and in front of a Thai princess. Thanks to the unique construction of the instrument and her innovative approach to playing, she was able to include in addition to the usual numbers a more demanding repertoire of old, classical and contemporary compositions.

She will talk about life with wooden stones and the connections between athletics and chocolate directly in the exhibition On Tour!, where we present her instrument and other materials as new acquisitions of our collections.

The program includes: Guided tour of the exhibition with its authors Mariana Lebedová and Petr Ferenc.

Tickets are priced at CZK 80 can be purchased online or at the venue before the start of the event.
