The Historical Building of the National Museum

The publication deals monographically with the historical building of the National Museum. It clarifies the circumstances of the origin of the building and acquaints the reader with its architectural form and artistic decoration. Along with the history and description of the building, it lists the names of well-known and lesser-known creators and personalities who participated in its construction and decoration. It also briefly recalls the history of the building during its more than a century of existence, including modifications made during the general reconstruction completed in 2019. The publication in the form of a guide is accompanied by more than a hundred color photographs of the building after the completed reconstruction, historical images and plans.
