The History of the 20th Century

The history of the 20th century can be viewed from several different angles. The exhibition guide embraces “big” history and public struggles over the direction of the Czech state and society, while also delving into people’s private and everyday lives. This guide picks out selected objects featured in the exhibition and tells the stories behind them and the people who made or used them as it seeks to provide a colourful insight into the complex history of the last century.
