The Journal Department of the National Museum Library Has Completed the Digitisation of Rudé právo from the Period of the First Republic and Proceeded to the Digitisation of České slovo

This year, the digitisation of the newspaper Rudé právo, including its evening issues, from the period of the First Republic has been completed. The volumes 1920–1938 of Rudé právo and separately the volumes 1928–1934 of Rudý večerník are thus freely available in the Kramerius digital library.

České slovo (Prague edition) has also begun to be digitised. So far, access in the Kramerius digital library has been provided to the year 1918. The digitisation of other volumes will continue in 2021.

At the same time, we would like to notify researchers that the years of the volumes mentioned above that are freely accessible in the digital library will no longer be physically available in the reading room.
