One of the construction investment events of the National Museum included in the program funding by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic is the revitalization of the Náprstek Museum. In 2020, a selected consortium of architects from Brno, represented by Ing. arch. Radko Květ, RadaArchitekti and Adam Rujbr Architects, continued the project preparation of the restoration of the historical area on Betlémské náměstí and the new building of the central depository situated on the grounds of the National Museum in Horní Počernice.
In the course of 2020, the construction design documentation for both of these investment events was presented and discussed with future users, employees of the Náprstek Museum. The restoration of the buildings of the Náprstek Museum with the new building located in the historical area on Betlémské náměstí was discussed with heritage preservation staff at several heritage preservation meetings. The suggestions and specific comments were incorporated into the next stage of the project documentation, into the documentation for a zoning decision, which was handed over to the National Museum in 2021, and for the legislative process.
The documentation for the construction of the central depository of the Náprstek Museum on the premises of the National Museum in Horní Počernice was submitted for inspection and the legislative process. Both of the above-mentioned construction investment events were initiated at the next stage of project documentation for building permits.
In 2021, the National Museum received a decision on program funding from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic to finance an investment project related to the revitalization of the Náprstek Museum, the demolition of the building of the former Humberto Circus. In addition, the National Museum received a decision from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic on providing subsidies for projects related to new expositions, the multimedia line, Časozdviž 360 from program funding. In 2021, the National Museum implemented program funding to renovate the server room in the New Building of the National Museum.
The project documentation for the renovation of the roof covering of the depository building of the Czech Museum of Music in Litoměřice, the static assessment of the National Museum Archives at Na Zátorách in Prague 7, and the documentation for the repair of the balconies and terraces of Kinsky Folly in Prague 5 were completed from our own resources.
Furthermore, the restoration research and plan for the restoration repair of the stairs in the garden of the Antonín Dvořák Museum in Prague 2 and the project documentation for the repair of the fence wall of the castle park of the Vrchotovy Janovice Chateau were completed, on the basis of which an investment plan was drawn up and subsequently submitted for registration to the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic with the goal of registering for program funding for the event.
