On Saturday August 16, 2025, 12. year of an international festival will take place bearing the name Organ grinder lives! In different places in the city center, many musicians will have their own show from different corners of Czechia, but from abroad as well.

You can enjoy the charm of mechanical music at these three concerts.

The festival will begin at 10 a.m. with a concert at the St. Nicholas Church on the Old Town Square. Untraditional connection of fairground art and the church atmosphere brings unique musical experiences. Listeners have an opportunity enjoy many interesting pieces from the world of classical music with the original adjustments, which you won't be able to hear anywhere else.

The afternoon concert is going to take place outside right in the open air. From 3 p.m. organ grinder players will perform on the beautiful square near Kampa by Charles Bridge. Don't let this unique opportunity of a relaxing atmosphere of an improvised performance slide because this unforgetable experience catches the attention of many bypassers each year.

The festival will be coming to an end in the form of a concert in the Czech Museum of Music from 7 p.m. Here you can be excited for a variety of compositions from many different genres, from classical music up to folk songs. When the official part of the concert will end, visitors will be able to get closer to the composers, take a look at their instruments, and even try playing those instruments themselves.
