A music festival for both hearing and def people promises a rich cultural program.
On Saturday June 7, 2025, a music festival will take place, organised by the municipality of Jabkenice in cooperation with the National Museum – Bedřich Smetana Memorial. You can look forward to a number of musical, singing and dancing performances in the courtyard of the hunting lodge, as well as guided tours of the exhibition, carriage rides and tempting refreshment stands.
According to the fact that Bedřich Smetana suffered a hearing loss, part of the programme is also accessible to the deaf. Artistic interpretation of musical performances and guided tours of the exhibition into Czech sign language is prepared in cooperation with the Brno-based Hands Dance ensemble.
