Guided tour of the the Historical Building of the National Museum covers not only the exceptional architecture and decorative art of the building, but also its symbolic meaning. It is maily manifested by the most beautiful and famous room in the building – the Pantheon. Students will learn here about selected historical personalities of the Czech nation and the significance of the Pantheon for past as well as contemporary society.
Practical information: we ask school groups to come to the Historical Building of the National Museum ideally 15 minutes in advance, which they will use to check in at the ticket office, put personal belongings away in the cloakroom, visit the toilet and move to their meeting point with the guide; pupils should bring a five-crown coin to operate the lockers; meeting with guides always takes place in the cloakroom area
