The museum is located in the historic center of the Prachatice city conservation area, right on Velké náměstí in an ancient burgher's house. The joint presentation of the history of puppets and circus art is unique in the museum world.

Museum of Czech Puppets and Circus is CLOSED to the public from November to the end of March.

Opening hours April–October:
Tuesday–Sunday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

November–March:
CLOSED
